For many, St. Patrick's Day has become a popular night to celebrate with friends and family. Many will attend a St. Patrick's Day party at a friends house, restaurant or bar. In addition to the service of traditional corned beef and cabbage many of the parties will have a heavy focus on the consumption of alcohol. We'd like to remind those planning to celebrate this upcoming weekend to do it responsibly.
Here are a few tips to help you plan a for a safe night:
- Plan a safe way home before the festivities begin;
- Before drinking, please designate a sober driver and give that person your keys;
- If you’re impaired, use a taxi, call a sober friend or family member, or use public transportation so you are sure to get home safely;
- If you happen to see a drunk driver on the road, please contact law enforcement;
- If you know someone who is about to drive or ride while impaired, take their keys and help them make other arrangements to get to where they are going safely.
- If you are hosting a party, serve a lot of food to go along with the alcohol and stop serving at a reasonable time. Have a plan in place for those who drink too much (provide a place for them to sleep or have taxi company phone numbers readily available to call).
Driving impaired or riding with someone who is impaired is simply not worth the risk. Not only do you risk killing yourself or someone else, but the trauma and financial costs of a crash or an arrest for driving while impaired can be really significant.
We wish you all a safe and happy St. Patrick's Day!

New look on Bail
I was having lunch with a former District Attorney and the subject of guilty people getting off "Scott free" came up. His take on the matter was very insightful. After listening to his long and intense explanation as only an attorney can explain it, his key point was "The process is part of the punishment." Think about this for a moment, from arrest to having the charges dropped, many things happen and when you really think about it, that is part of the punishment.
* Arrest and the ride to jail in the back of the Police car.
* Booking into jail
* Arranging for and paying your Bail from a licensed Bail Bond company
* Hiring an Attorney and paying the fee
* Time in court fighting your case
When the process is the punishment, releasing someone on their own recognisance is in a sense, reducing the punishment.
Guilty or innocent 510 Bail Bond will help you through the process, give us a call for all your Bail Bond needs.
