Rpt. #005- Originally called in as an 11-54 (suspicious vehicle,) Ofc. Gaziano contacts and arrests two adult females for being under the influence of drugs on Matthew Terrace. Booked into the Fremont Jail.
Rpt. #009. Warrant Service at Smart and Final. Ofc. Ceniceros conducts ped stop on an adult female and arrests her for an outstanding warrant. Booked into the Fremont Jail.
#027: A late-reported robbery. The 18 year-old victim called us at 1700 hrs to report that at around noon today he cashed his paycheck and walked toward home on Eggers. Two suspects confronted him and demanded his cash. They kicked and punched him several times, leaving visible injuries, before leaving with the money. Ofc. Lobue investigated.
#030: Burglary at 40600 blk Fremont Blvd. Sometime today unknown suspect(s) kicked open a locked door and gained entry. Two rooms were ransacked. Some cash and jewelry were stolen. CSO Allen investigated.
#032: Burglary at 3000 Mission View Dr. The reporting party is house-sitting for his in-laws and discovered that the home was burglarized some time this past week. Ofc. Tarango investigated.
#034: The clerk at C&C Liquors called to report that a male claiming to have a gun attempted to rob him. The clerk said the male was now next door at the 7-11 on Delaware. Ofc. Edwards was passing by as the call came out, and he immediately spotted the described subject at the 7-11. The male refused to follow commands and was telling the other patrons they couldn't leave. It appeared as if he wanted to run. Ofc. Edwards directed other officers in. After a few moments of indecision, the suspect, a 29 yr old male, made a run for it and was introduced to K-9 Timo. After the dust settled, we learned that although the suspect was screaming he had a gun, he never actually attempted to rob the liquor store. The suspect was sent to the hospital for the dog bite and a psychological evaluation.
